Mr. Ray Bradbury, if you read this... Please know that I truly admire your work, especially Fahrenheit 451.
I had the pleasure of meeting you at a Border's bookstore once, and I saw you years later at a Comic Con.
Both times you seemed like a wonderful, rational person.
But I have to question this now, with your steaming reaction to Michael Moore using a variation on your title.
Do you not remember lifting "Something Wicked This Way Comes" straight of William Shakespeare's work? Did you ask the
estate of William for permission before you "stole" it?
Of course not.
You can't copyright a title. Michael is guilty of the literary practice called "allusion" or possibly "homage."
You should be honored.
(And no, America West, if you're reading this, Michael should not have needed to ask your permission for the cameo appearance of your airplane. Nor do I need to ask you, Michael Moore, or Ray Bradbury to include your names in my blog)
