Slim-fastâ„¢-using Conservatives get Whoopie fired for bad-mouthing President Bush
A celebrity spokeswoman for a diet milkshake product bad-mouths the President in a legitimate forum (namely, the opposing political party's party).
Ok, let's say it was a Democratic president. Your average democrat or liberal would respond in a lot of different ways, but presumably, not by blaming the company that makes the diet milkshake product. (Although those canned concoctions do have a lot to be guilty about...)
Conservatives, however, always seem to do this. If a conservative doesn't like something, it tries to boycott or cut ties with anything associated with it.
Well, because it's a Republican president, and the Slim-fast spokeswoman Whoopi Goldberg poked fun at Bush, conservative dieters wrote to Slim-fast's Dutch-owned corporation, and it decided that since a decent number of people are now avoiding using its diet product, it will fire Whoopi Goldberg.
Does this mean conservatives are really fat?
