Microsoft sponsors Thought Thieves Competition

Sinking to knew a new low in bad analogies, Microsoft has introduced the Thought Thieves Competition, encouraging filmmakers to create short films about the damaging effects of intellectual property "violations".

Since when is a song or movie or book, or a piece of software a "thought"?
