Desktop Acting?

I'm learning the latest software attempt to replace human actors, MotionBuilder. I used to work at a company called BioVision, which does motion capture for games and movies. Well, we have certainly progressed since then! For example, this program lets you splice motions from different recordings, blending between them as if it were one continuous motion. Wow!

I just hope that movies don't get progressively worse and become all Matrix Reloaded-like. The software has no way to put back in emotion.
